In the previous blog post, we mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of acrylic lamps. In this issue, we will discuss the disadvantages of acrylic. Acrylic lampshades will age after being used for a long time. One phenomenon of aging is that the inside of the lampshade turns yellow. The reasons for this are 1. The high temperature of the bulb causes changes in the inside of the lampshade, and 2. Because of environmental factors, there is more dust or oil smoke covering the surface of the lampshade, so the acrylic lampshade we use often turns yellow. How to clean acrylic lamps? The cleaning method of acrylic lamp is as follows:
Daily cleaning:
1. Gently wipe the lampshade with a soft dry cloth or feather duster to remove dust.
If there are stains on the lampshade, wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent, and then rinse it with clean water.
Deep cleaning:
1. If there are oil stains or stubborn stains on the lampshade, you can clean it with the following method:
Mix 1 liter of warm water with 100 ml of white vinegar, wipe the lampshade with a soft cloth dipped in the solution, and then rinse it with clean water.
2. Squeeze toothpaste on a soft cloth, wipe the stains on the lampshade, and then rinse it with clean water.
Mix alcohol (70% concentration) and water in equal amounts, wipe the lampshade with a soft cloth dipped in the solution, and then rinse it with clean water.

Precautions:
1. Turn off the power before cleaning the acrylic lamp.
2. When cleaning the acrylic lamp, wear gloves to avoid getting your hands dirty.
3. When cleaning acrylic lamps, please place an absorbent cloth under the lampshade to prevent dirty water from dripping onto the floor.
4. When cleaning acrylic lamps, do not use rough cloth or detergent to avoid scratching the lampshade.
5. When cleaning acrylic lamps, do not use detergents containing acid or alkaline to avoid corrosion of the lampshade.
6. When cleaning acrylic lamps, do not soak the lamp in water.
